Art That Speaks of His Promises

My art is an expression of faith, created to share the love, hope, and promises of God. Each painting carries a story inspired by Scripture, prayer, and the journey of faith—inviting the viewer to see beyond the canvas and encounter a message meant for the heart.

More than art, it is the Good News told through a brush.

Crown of Thorns

Acrylic, crackle medium and glow-in-the-dark acrylic on canvas, 2026

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Isaiah 53:5

A close portrait of Christ against a warm, weathered ground, painted in the hours before dawn over several weeks. The crown of thorns is built up with crackle medium so the surface fractures like dried, wounded skin, and finished with glow-in-the-dark acrylic over the dark passages — in low light the thorns quietly hold a soft glow. The face stays quiet and lowered — not defeated, but willing. I wanted the viewer to stand close enough to feel the weight of what was carried, and to see peace where there should have been anguish.
