My name is Karina Elena, and my journey as an artist began in a way I never could have planned. I was born in Colombia and came to the United States when I was 16 years old. My life has been shaped by faith, family, service, and a deep desire to help others know the love of God.

In 2020, I experienced a near-death experience that profoundly changed my life and strengthened my relationship with God. Since then, my heart has been drawn toward sharing hope and the message of Jesus Christ with others. For years, that calling led me into ministry and service — praying with people, serving those who are hurting, and sharing the hope God placed in my heart.

Then, in June 2026, something completely unexpected happened. I began to paint. I had never been an artist. I had never studied painting or developed a career in art. Yet suddenly, I found myself creating images inspired by Scripture, prayer, faith, and the spiritual messages that had become such an important part of my life. What began with a paintbrush quickly became another way for me to share the Gospel.

Today, I describe what I do as evangelizing through art. Each piece I create has a story. Some speak of healing. Others tell of freedom, redemption, surrender, spiritual battles, the love of Jesus, or the promises of God. My hope is that someone will look at a painting and see more than colors on a canvas — that something in it will touch their heart and point them toward God.

I don't take credit for where this journey began. I give God all the glory. My art is still growing, and so am I. Every canvas is part of a testimony I never expected to have.
