“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.”

John 15:13

Four figures marked Compassion, Love, Faith and Hope walking through rubble toward the cross. "To free the oppressed, so others may live." I painted this for a ministry group of veterans and active-duty military who work to rescue people around the world — it was made as a thank you to them, for going into hard places so others can live.
